Martina Aldrich
Martina has a comprehensive background in personal training and group exercise instructon. Her 17 years of experience have touched the Newport community with great workouts and training that enhance the mind, body, heart and soul. Martina’s expert knowledge of fitness prepares her clients for proper technique and individual body design. Her lifelong commitment to fitness, along with her energy enthusiasm gives her clients results that will last a lifetime. Her workouts specialize in effective body toning, fat-burning cardio, Pilates, fit yoga, core stabilization, and relaxation stretching workouts. Her certifications include group exercise, personal training, Pilates and Reebok core.

Lisa Cecchi
Lisa Cecchi has degrees in Physical Education, Mathematics, and a Masters Degree in Business. Lisa attended school at the USMA at West Point, The University of Louisville, and Webster University. Lisa was a collegiate swimmer and competed in NCAA championship events. She has competed in several triathlons, biathlons, and various distance road races including six marathons. She placed 3rd overall woman in the 2005 Quebec City Marathon. Lisa is an AFAA certified personal trainer who concentrates on functional training, sports specific training, and post-rehab training. She has six children. She states, “My life is my family and my husband, Michael, is my inspiration.”

Michael Cecchi

Michael Cecchi has been a certified personal fitness trainer in Newport County for more than 13 years. Michael’s program design expertise includes general fitness, sport specific training, flexibility training, sports specific training and core conditioning. Michael has given numerous lectures and training seminars at area health clubs, hospitals, work places and schools. His enthusiasm for what he does along with his unmatched ability to motivate will help you reach your fitness goals.

Paul O’Hearn
Paul is a certified and insured fitness trainer with 12 years of applied experience. His training methods will improve body composition, aerobic and anaerobic conditioning as well as flexibility and balance. Paul employ’s a variety of techniques including core fitness training, functional, progressive resistance and interval training to help you achieve your goals and to create an engaging and progress oriented fitness program. Jessie Kendall
Jessie Kendal is a certified and insured personal trainer using the "KI-HARA" method of resistance stretching. Other training has included NIA dance, Reflexology, Thai-Shiatsu and Thai-Zen massage therapy and two years of study in "Tama-Do" with French acupuncturist and composer Fabien Maman. Her athletic background includes skiing, tennis, riding, sailing professionally and windsurfing instructor for Windsurfing International. She is currently training in dressage, which educates the equine athlete in strength and flexibility using similar principals basic to Ki-Hara.

Achieving flexibility can balance the body/mind, eliminate obstacles to the free flow of energy and create a lightness of effort and joy of movement that can give the elite athlete a competitive edge or the everyday individual a body that can move safely and efficiently which will enhance any activity and can lead to pain free living. Karen Massaro

Karen specializes in group and individual exercise programs. Her genuine love for fitness and promotion of healthy lifestyles has influenced many in their quest for healthier living.

Thomas Newman
Thomas Newman is certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. Additionally, he is certified through the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a Certified Personal Trainer. He recently moved to Newport from Boston, where he was a full time personal trainer at the famous Sports Club LA, in pursuit of becoming a collegiate Strength and Conditioning coach. His specialties include sport specific training, rehabilitation and bodybuilding. He participates both as a performance consultant for various universities and the Junior Olympic Volleyball powerhouse Beantown Volleyball Club. He routinely lectures throughout New England, focusing on weight training education to high school and college athletes. His training philosophy is, “Training is much more than changing muscle, it’s about changing the person as a whole."
